the interview wasn't as scary as i thought it was going to be. i don't think i impressed any of them as well, it was more like an informal chat and i think it's safe to assume they did more talking than i did. on thursday's, there were three people present and one of them were wearing black crocs and i was so tempted to say something.

on friday's, i turned up two hours too early. again it was informal and i wasn't fully prepared for the awful question, 'tell me about yourself'. i even apologised a couple of times for thinking time. and then there were those stairs/stairway where i held on to both walls, palm down and blocked my interviewer from getting up, i'm not used to wearing heels. ;-s

people who work at these web and design agencies all look so young, i look like a infant compared to them.........

i messed up and started my work placement way too late and maybe not... considering i decidedly put it off more than several times. i have just a month to find somewhere before i leave the uk for my holiday. managed to sent some emails out and two speculative letters and got one reply inviting me to come and talk about this vacancy which i'm dreading because i have never really had an interview before except for that telephone call which was truly tramatising. unsurprising because i gave some really stupid answers. whattodo.whattodo. i really just want to go straight to the third year of my degree but my mum really wants me to do this.. even though its my choice/life blahblah, i really want to do this myself for myself because i think it will give me a greater advantage... bytheway the weather is really crappy today.

I miss listening to the Succubus Club interviews with Tim Minear, Rebecca Rand Kirshner and Jane Espenson
I miss Arrested Development lots. :-(
Abril Despedacado ttly set me up for Carnivale. lovelovelove. I'm devastated that it's cancelled
I took out some DVDs from the uni library for "educational purposes". I was disappointed with Le Diner De Cons because the dinner party with idiots didn't happen! Damn.,
I went to this singing contest on Monday and got me a glowy stick.
I saw one of the participant from the singing contest in town from a distance who i thought was PRETTY, if they were close enough I would have maybe said something like "you're like a celebrity to me" (old rl joke) or "i wanna be your stalker/groupie" pls YES/NO. or possibly something realistic like, "Were you in that singing contest? (though I would know because.. i'm sure they were!) you were good and i voted for you!" (although I didn't but i wanted tooooooooooo)
How can my phone not have the word "stalker" in the dictionary? Insane.
I saw a pony in someone's front garden and I was like OMFG! *snap*

I am going to start taking pictures of things because I can, because it's fun and because of a recently sad missed opportunity of capturing one guy's green canvas Kermit shoes forever.

The lame Buchanan/Hayes patch I made w/ a little heartie at the end.

A tshirt I brought from the internets. The colours remind me of the Drumstick lollisticks. My mouse which I love because I hate using my laptop touchpad.

Empty class. I got there 10 minutes early. angryface.

I got this giant of a book to read (it's only 157pages but the font is tiny). and for randomness I like my tutor's jazzy hand movements and his divalike fingerpointing which I don't think will ever fail to be amusing to me.

- It's cold and it's been snowing overnight but I think I'm getting closer to losing my cold.

- I've started reading fanfic again and it's such a guilty pleasure for me. I actually go in search for more when I read a good one. Is embarrassed.

- My website development tutor probably thinks I'm a geek. Although when he uses it I think it's supposed to be endearing. When I apply it to myself not so much.

During my presentation I was getting a little worked up because the previous presentation didn't go well and he could tell, first I forgot to add the .zip file extension name and only figured it out when I asked him for his help. Then I forgot to add my user id to the url and he told me to slow down. He recognised Colbert from the video and laughed at the geeky animated gif I added.

I told him I was thinking about codes while watching tv. He laughed and said it can't have been good. I was like, 'Noo! It was good I just couldn't stop thinking about it..' He asked me what I watched and I answered, 'House!' He's never heard of it. I think my jaw might have dropped then.

- Desperate Housewives Bang aired last week. It was so good. I loved the little bits like when Susan leaves the store and says hi to Carolyn and she relies, 'Yeah. Hi. How are ya?' It was just the fact that her attitude was like whatever but she still bothered with the little pleasantries.

- I have learned to appreciate Felicity Huffman. I don't think it was soon enough.

- I went to watch a free screening of 'In the Mood for Love' last night. This was the second time I've seen it and I enjoyed it much more. I like Tony Leung and was upset when his character died in Infernal Affairs (did he? Or was this something else I watched, I can't quite remember) although I'm not sure that's the last we see of him in the trilogy.

I thought the lecturer gave some great insight unfortunately for the person I went with that was the least enjoyable. And I also during the film realised how much I love the score epecially the Yumeji's theme. I know it came up a number of times much like the rest of the songs but I loved it more and more each time and even looked forward to it.

My face got warm and I almost started to cry when Leung and Cheung rehearsed how they were going to leave each other and when Leung whispered his secret in a hole of a tree and covered it with mud in the end. It might have helped by the fact that this time I saw it with no ad breaks. Next weeks' screening is Behind the sun/Abril Despedaçado and it's on Valentine's day too :-/

Haven't updated for a while as it just requires effort on my half.. So last tuesday+ :

I cried in the company of my academic coach. I apologised for crying while crying. It was stupid.
Evaluation day gave our team of dead weights a kick up the backside.
One of my team members has Julia Roberts lips and he possibly has hair shame too.
Another likes the font, Comic Sans MS. :-|
Another "team member" (she doesn't contribute much) makes me want to hurt myself like whenever Desmond says, "my brother" asdfkill.
I got this red bruise thing under my chin that appeared last night out of nowhere that isn't actually a bruise. I think it's just irritable. If anyone asks, I am going to say someone gave me the uppercut because it sounds more glamorous.
I liked Prison Break when they were prison bound.
YAY! Meryl Streep mentioned Pan's Labyrinth and Volver at the GG.
YAY! Buchanan/Hayes love.love.love. I even made a patch.

Because for some reason I like to read.

I finished and submitted my assignment yesterday for today. I wasn't tempted to do it in the holidays. Now I know better.

Prison Break (J-Cat) last night was awesome and love. Sucre is adorable. Wentmiller Miller is pretty. Michelle Forbes is pretty and I love Robin Tunney's voice and Cappy Bellick + knickers makes plentiful of lols.

The Fray came on in a store and I put my fangirl cap on and was all "HOUSEHOUSEHOUSEasdfg" because it was on a House/Cuddy fanvid I saw and my sister who was visibly pissed off with me grew a backbone and told me to leave it at home. Ha.

I've been watching Prison Break reruns on five every night around midnight for the past few days and I really like it.

I think insomnia definitely helps, that and Christmas tv being completely rubbish.

It's strange because I remember watching the first two episodes on my laptop last year (or rather last last year, happy new year!) and giving up on it although I was probably watching it while looking at something else. I think the name, Marti Noxon scared me away. It was Point Pleasant's doing.

I flicked through Prison Break time after time when I heard Michelle Forbes appeared in episodes because Michelle Forbes equal awesome! I love listening to her commentary on my 24 season two DVDs.

Anyway, Prison Break. Me. Hooked.
